My job requires me to use jaws and talk on the phone at the same time. The calls come through my computer. is there a headset on the market that will allow me to do both?
Yes Plantronics sale one that connects to the land line and the computer. It is stereo. Some are mono. Go to www.plantronics.com and email them. There are others, but this one to me has the best sound, and like I said is stereo, so that the call and Jaws are in both ears. I used one that has Jaws on one side and the person on the other, but like the stereo better. It has separate volume as well.
I'd personally recommend the Logitech H760 headset if you are looking for something that is portible and wireless. This head set will allow you to use jaws as well as talk to some one over voice over IP software such as skype. this headset interfaces with the computer via a small thumb drive sized transmitter/receiver. if you are looking for a cheap solution, you could go to radio shack or any electronics store and pick up a wired USB headset with a microphone. these range between 20 and 30 dollars. Either solution should work well. Hope this helps.
